We are truly proud to be stocking Mogo Village Honey. Those little bees are busy buzzing around Mogo and surrounding areas gathering nectar and happily pollinating the bush and home gardens. Lovingly cared for by the McGann Family who have seen some rough times this year losing their family home and their honey production equipment. This family amazes me every day. When we were all evacuated from Mogo on New Years Eve I saw Peter at the Moruya evacuation centre and he knew that their family home was lost and his honey production facility. To speak with him that day and realising the magnitude of what they were about to face made me wonder also what we would be facing not knowing if our family home had made it through and our beautiful lolly shop building.
I have cried many tears over these past few months watching families that I know stare blankly at what was once was their homes. The immense pride and love and admiration I feel for them as they rebuild their lives here. I am so overjoyed to see Peter and Jenny and their children settle, rebuild their family business and do so without any fuss or hoo haa. They are the get up and goers…nothing will hold them back.
Support them by purchasing their delicious honey from The Mogo Lolly Shop or anywhere else you see it for sale. Always remember that without bees we don’t have food supply, flowers and trees are not pollinated. Watch them with sheer amazement as they buzz from flower to flower busily doing so much work and providing us with a scrumpticious golden drop.
